African Water Buffalo
I work predominantly on endangered species and other animals that catch my interest, in this case I came across some photographs of what looked like the grumpiest old water buffalo.

Individually hand sculpted each animal I make is hollow and created using a combination of pinch potting, coiling and slabbing which I commonly refer to as hollow form sculpting. The work is then bisque fired to 1080c the piece is then painted using a technique known as dry brushing using acrylic paints.
