&lt;p&gt;The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair&lt;br /&gt;
23rd-26th October 2008&lt;br /&gt;
The Manchester Grammar School&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This major new selling event in the North Of England, celebrating the very best in contemporary craft, is inviting applications from accomplished designer-makers.  This will be an  excellent opportunity to sell and promote your work to a new audience of buyers and collectors.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair will be a high profile, high quality selected event that will showcase the finest contemporary craft coming out of the North and give makers from other parts of the country an opportunity to establish a northern client base.  We will present over 100 of the most innovative and influential makers in the UK , both established and emerging talent - and give them a platform to sell their work directly to the public.  To ensure high standards of cutting edge craft all exhibitors will be selected by an independent panel of craft experts to create an inspiring mix of ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, wood, furniture, paper, basketry, metal and more.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It will be a three day event with a preview evening and will be held between 23rd -26th October 2008 in the beautiful setting of The Manchester Grammar School, a fabulous venue with ample free parking and good access.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Exhibition stands from £300; shared applications welcome.  Some large stands available for group work.&lt;/p&gt;

Comprising rarely seen photographs, textiles, sample books, fabric lengths and manufacturers&#039; labels, from private and public collections, the show offers an inspiring insight into one of Scotland&#039;s most successful export industries , responsible for introducing the popular bandanna to  US cowboys and supplying India, SE Asia and the Caribean with vivid red fabrics throughout the 19th century.&lt;br /&gt;

The aim is to help people who want such a memorial through the often daunting process of finding an artist, commissioning the memorial, and negotiating the rules and regulations governing churchyard or cemetery.
