blankcanvas-art.co.uk promotes arts and crafts and the artists. At the moment, we are selling hand-painted clothing, handmade bags , handmade jewellery, paintings, prints and masks made by 11 artists and we are rapidly expanding. Our aim is to give our customers as much information about the products and the artists and connect our customers to the products and to the artists. We also promote Teatro Ricerche, a theatre company that runs workshops and creates plays using improvisational threatre (commedia dell'arte), which includes also mask-making. Cultural Industries Quarter Agency

The Cultural Industries Quarter Agency was created in 2000 to maximise the potential of the CIQ and help Sheffield's creative industries grow by working with a wide range of local partners including sister agency INSPIRAL (which provides individual business support) the City Council and other regeneration agencies.It has a wide ranging remit including championing the creative industries at local, regional, national and international level; encouraging investment in the Quarter and the creative industries; the physical and business development of the CIQ including environmental improvements, helping companies obtain suitable accommodation and improving business services. The CIQ Agency also leads on issues such as providing business networking opportunities and developing effective communications, aiming to keep creative organisations up to date with activities within the sector and making the broader business community and general population aware of the value and opportunities in the creative industries.The CIQ Agency is a publicly funded, not for profit organisation funded through a combination of public and commercial income.
