Short courses and weekend workshops in traditional and contemporary glassmaking techniques including: sandblasting, leading, painting, copper foiling and fusing. Suitable for beginners and those with previous experience.Students will benefit from working with an experienced artist and within a small group affording a high level of individual attention. Beginners are delighted with their abilities and achievements in such a short time. Courses are practical and aim to teach the fundamental skills required to begin working in glass. Students can expect by the end of each course to have accomplished an item of work, be it a small panel, object or sample of decorative glass. With each new course or workshop offered, there is a further opportunity to explore another technique so you can build on your experience in your own time and develop your creativity and ideas at your own pace. For those with some knowledge of glass the courses offer an opportunity to develop specific techniques or to improve existing skills.
