ICOM is the Industrial Common Ownership Movement Limited, a non-profit membership organisation promoting and representing democratic employee owned businesses throughout the UK. Since 1971 it has pioneered the cause of democratic employee ownership, especially in the form of worker co-operatives. It is also involved in developing other innovative forms of co-operation, including an increasing number of co-operative consortiums made up of small businesses or self-employed individuals. The ICOF (International Common Ownership Finance Ltd) is sister organisation.
