Just thought Nigel was looking a bit lonely here...and my he was busy 23 days and 2 hours ago. Anyway thought I would post a hello and see if anyone else was out there. I have been self employed woodworker for 12 years and current interests lie in forming a "campaign for traditional crafts" of "vernacular Crafts Council" and also interested in the method of teaching wood craft known as Sloyd which initiated in Scandinavia in the late 19th C.

PS Nigel how about a "general chat" section?

General chat

HI admin,
What about having a sub topic under general chat. Like "introduce yourself " or " where are you from" or something like that?

Hey Robin,
Aaron Here in San Diego. I think the general chat thing is definitely a good idea. Some place to get warmed up see whats up. I'm not sure who maintains the front page but thanks for the nice phtot of my Sea Foam in the little flash movie. Looks great...

Hello Robin, thanks for your message as you can see I have added a general chat section now!

I think that is a great idea for forming a campaign for traditional crafts. It would be good to hear what some of the other members think on this subject.
