CIDS is the economic development agency for cultural and creative enterprises in Manchester's metropolitan core. We aim to provide a demand-led service which helps develop sustainable cultural and creative enterprises in Manchester's City Pride area (Manchester, Salford, Tameside, Trafford). Through this we aim to contribute to the overall growth of independent cultural production and to make the city a natural location for cultural and creative enterprises in the UK. Artists and entrepreneurs have been involved at every stage of the research and development of CIDS and we will continue to shape and form our service in this way.
