During the last two weekends in June, artists and makers across the whole of North Yorkshire invite you into a host of intriguing studio spaces ­ which range from caravans on the North Yorkshire moors, harbourside baiting sheds in Scarborough, suburban living rooms in Harrogate to beautiful back gardens in the remote Yorkshire Dales.

With works on show ranging from stained glass, knitted jewellery and miniature paper shoes to sculpture, paintings and ceramics, there will be something to inspire everybody. In addition to visits to the individual artists' studios, NYOS 09 features a programme of exhibitions, talks,workshops, demonstrations and other activities taking place in venues across North Yorkshire.
