Chrysalis Arts was formed in 1985 by Rick Faulkner and Kate Maddison, initially as a performance art company organising and managing celebratory arts events, including Stockton International Riverside Festival finale and sculptural pyrotechnics for Carlisle City Council.Since 1990 the company has concentrated on designing, creating and managing the production of permanent public art work. The company now has a national reputation for high quality design, craftsmanship and reliability.
